Humboldt's Gift

The story follows Charlie Citrine, a young man obsessed with literature, and his relationship with the poet Von Humboldt Fleisher. As Humboldt dies a failure, Charlie finds his own life in disarray, marked by a difficult divorce and questionable associations. Humboldt eventually leaves Charlie an unexpected legacy that serves as a catalyst for his potential transformation.
