Yes — completely. There is no cost, no account, and no catch. If your book has a documented recommendation on EliteReads, you are welcome to use the badge on any site you control.
How do you verify recommendations?
Every recommendation in our database is tied to a primary source — the interview, podcast, letter, or reading list where the person actually named the book — and includes the verbatim quote. We do not infer or crowdsource endorsements. The badge links directly to that sourced citation so anyone can check it.
Can I use it on my publisher's site?
Yes. The badge is plain HTML with inline styles, so it works on publisher sites, retailer pages, blog posts, and email — anywhere you can paste a link. There are no external scripts or trackers to get through a security review.
What if my book isn't listed?
If a notable figure has recommended your book and we haven't documented it yet, send us the source (the interview, podcast, or article) at hello@elitereads.com and we'll review it. If it checks out, we'll add it — and your badge will be ready.
