The Day of the Triffids

After a mysterious meteor shower leaves most of the world's population blind, the social order collapses and allows 'triffids'—carnivorous, mobile plants—to prey on humanity. Sighted survivor Bill Masen must navigate the ruins of London to find safety and understand the origins of the catastrophe.
