The Ministry of Time

An unnamed civil servant in near-future London is assigned to act as a 'bridge' for a Victorian explorer rescued from a doomed 1845 Arctic expedition. As she helps him adjust to the 21st century, they navigate the ethical complexities of time travel and the legacy of the British Empire. Their relationship eventually reveals the dark true nature of the government's secret project.
