A poetic memoir of an Indigenous woman's coming of age on the Seabird Island Indian Reservation in the Pacific Northwest. After being hospitalized and diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar II disorder, the author utilizes a notebook to write her way through childhood trauma, grief, and reconciliation. The narrative explores identity, motherhood, and the complexities of memory and healing.
