Little Fires Everywhere

Set in the 1990s in Shaker Heights, Ohio, the story follows the Richardson family and their new tenants, Mia Warren and her daughter Pearl. When a custody battle over a Chinese-American baby divides the town, long-held secrets and conflicting values regarding motherhood and social conformity are exposed. The narrative examines how different families navigate identity, privilege, and the rules of their community.
