Naked Lunch

A non-linear narrative following the surreal adventures of William Lee, an addict traveling through the nightmarish city of Interzone. The book is composed of semi-autobiographical vignettes known as 'routines' that explore themes of control, addiction, and social decay. Originally published in 1959, it became a landmark work of the Beat Generation and was the focus of a historic obscenity trial in the United States.
