The Neverending Story

Bastian Balthazar Bux, a lonely boy, discovers a mysterious book that pulls him into the magical land of Fantastica. He follows the quest of a young warrior named Atreyu to save the Childlike Empress from a consuming force known as The Nothing. The story eventually blurs the boundaries between the reader and the narrative, requiring Bastian to enter the world himself to save it.
