If We Were Villains

On the day Oliver Marks is released from prison, he agrees to tell the true story of the murder he served time for a decade ago. The narrative follows seven young actors at an elite Shakespearean conservatory where their onstage roles of hero, villain, and temptress began to bleed dangerously into their real lives. After one of their own is found dead, the group must navigate the consequences of their shared tragedy and the roles they played in its unfolding.
